Veins on Face and Legs
A large percentage of men and women will deal with visible and unsightly veins
on their legs and face. Superficial veins under 3mm in diameter on the legs are
often called spider veins. Small veins/vessels on the face are called telangiectasia.
Telangiectasias are abnormally dilated vessels very close to the surface of the
skin. Both types of vessels respond very well to modern treatments. The most
common treatments for spider veins include laser therapy and sclerotherapy. For
facial veins, laser therapy is the gold standard of treatment. At Aspire, we
utilize both schlerotherapy and laser therapy to tackle those tough, unsightly
broken vessels.
